Scope of the Role
The LATAM Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution processes. This position requires a detailoriented and analytical professional who can accurately assess project costs and contribute to the financial planning and success of our construction projects. The Estimator will work closely with clients vendors and internal teams to prepare and analyze cost estimates for a variety of construction projects across Latin America.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labor estimates.
• Assess costeffectiveness of products projects or services tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients vendors personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed estimates by gathering proposals blueprints specifications and related documents.
• Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time materials and labor expenses.
• Conduct postproject analysis to determine areas for future improvement.
• Participate in bid preparation and contract negotiations.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal project outcomes.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a construction estimator.
• Experience with job costing requiring proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience producing construction drawings preferably with familiarity in using Revit CAD or other architectural rendering software.
• Excellent communication in English
