As the Category Head you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of product categories from strategy development to execution. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth maximizing profitability and enhancing the overall competitiveness of our products in the market. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
- Analyze market data consumer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Manage product assortment pricing and promotions to optimize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and operations to execute category initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and quality.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and develop a team of category managers and specialists to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in category management or related roles preferably in the FMCG industry.
