Category Head Marketing

As the Category Head you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of product categories from strategy development to execution. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth maximizing profitability and enhancing the overall competitiveness of our products in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in category management a proven track record of success and a passion for driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
• Analyze market data consumer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment pricing and promotions to optimize sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and operations to execute category initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and quality.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and develop a team of category managers and specialists to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5 years of experience in category management or related roles preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and driving results.
