Job Description
Position: Mechanical Assembler
Location:Peabody MA 01960
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift Time: 7:00 am 3:30 pm (Monday Friday)
Summary:
The client looking for an experienced assembler in their Mechanical Assembly department. The work involves using hand and power tools to assemble kit and pack large mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.
Responsibilities:
Job Specifications:
- Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred.
- Certifications: Vocational training apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
- Years Experience: 02 years of relevant experience
Skills:

Good mechanical aptitude

Able to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery

Capable of performing basic mathematics

Ability to read and interpret company documents such as safety rules operating/manufacturing instructions policies and procedure

Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts

Able to problemsolve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks

Effective oral written and interpersonal skills
