Job Description
Our client is seeking a Billing Specialist Supervisor to oversee the medical billing team for all SPH clinics and outpatient services. The role involves ensuring accurate claims submission to various insurances maintaining billing policies and effective communication with stakeholders. Pay: Dependent on Experience (negotiable) Sign on Bonus: $15000 $20000 $10000 payable on the pay date that corresponds with the pay period after the first full week of work. $10000 payable upon successful completion of (6) months of employment. $20000 is for out of state relocation $15000 is for instate relocation Key Responsibilities Oversee medical billing team for all clinics and outpatient services Verify information for clean claims to various insurances Review insurance accounts and expedite processing Maintain uptodate billing policies and procedures Communicate effectively over phone and in person Schedule and Shift Details FullTime Days
Requirements
High School/GED
3 years of experience in ALL of the following:
Medicaid
Healthcare
Do you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Medicaid Medicare Part B/Primary Care billing (yes)
Do you have a certificate of billing from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or the Practice Management Institute (PMI) (yes)

Required skills & experience: 1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of LA (or other NLC state). 3) 2+ years previous experience working in care management and/or with CKD/ESRD patients is preferred. 4) Ability to take call remotely on some nights and weekends 5) Must have Home Health and/or Hospice experience. Preferred 2+ years experience in any of the following: Dialysis Care Home Health Care Hospice Case Management (CM)
