Works Schedule: Monday Friday 9 AM to 5 PM

About Us:

Were a trusted plumbing company serving the Chicagoland region for over 30 years. We have recently transitioned our website from WordPress to a React and Node.js system with the help of a frontend developer. Now were seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer and Webmaster to join our team and manage and enhance our backend systems.

Position Overview:

As a Full Stack Developer and Webmaster youll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our web applications. Youll collaborate closely with our frontend developer to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. Additionally youll work on implementing new features managing databases and optimizing performance. This role may require availability during offhours to address any website downtime or urgent updates.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain BackEnd Code:
  • Write clean efficient code for web applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Optimize databases for smooth functionality.
• Collaborate with FrontEnd Developer:
  • Work closely with the frontend developer to integrate userfacing elements.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability across the entire system
• API Integration:
  • Experience working with APIs including platforms like Google Ads Microsoft Ads Meta and ChatGBT.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems such as serviceTitan.
• Server Management:
  • Oversee development and live servers to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Maintain a clean codebase and manage code versions.
• Technical Support and Security:
  • Troubleshoot server and database issues. Ensure web security and compliance.
• Landing Page Development:
  • Assist in the development and optimization of landing pages.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience:
  • Previous work as a backend developer particularly in a Node.js environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in database management (e.g. MySQL MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with serverside programming languages (e.g. Java Ruby PHP Python).
  • Working knowledge of CMS frameworks.
  • Understanding of frontend languages (HTML JavaScript CSS).
• Teamwork and ProblemSolving:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
• Experience in digital marketing and API integrations.
• Familiarity with React for potential frontend collaborations.
• Ability to manage both development and live server environments.

OffHours Availability:

• Be available during offhours to ensure the website remains up and running.
• Implement urgent updates or new features as needed.
