Education Requirement

An associate degree in film media or equivalent field experience

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film is preferred

Required Years of Experience

3 years

It is an oncall/asneeded position through our staffing agency to support our video production projects.

Job Duties:

Collaborate with the production team to create captivating lighting arrangements for various studio and locational shoots.

Work with other designers editors producers and clients to comprehend the project goals and expectations

Work with director to plan all aspects of shots

Give realistic creative input and guidance to scene preparation

Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming lighting techniques

Design lighting plans based on artistic vision and technical expertise

Communicate with directors and other designers to determine color schemes and moods.

Knowledge of lighting equipment problemsolving teamwork.

Handle cameras lighting and audio equipment for field and studio productions

Make sure that the multimedia content follows the quality standards and guidelines of the company and the clients

Support the Qualcomm Inc. with multimedia production including setting up maintaining and fixing the lighting equipment

Work with makeup artists lighting and sound staff to create the best final effect

Solve technical or practical problems

Stay informed on modern technology and current industry trends to ensure you use the most updated methods to do the job

Edit footage as needed

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in lighting design or a related role

Skillful in using various lighting system such as ETC

Creative and artistic skills with a good sense of aesthetics and details

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team and with clients

Flexible and adaptable with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Strong technical skills for troubleshooting equipment issues

A strong attention to detail

Flexible schedule to work nights and weekends if required

Must be able to lift 50lbs
