Job Title: Neurologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our medical team. As a Neurologist you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system including the brain spinal cord nerves and muscles. You will work closely with patients to understand their medical history conduct neurological examinations order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop personalized treatment plans. Additionally you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations to diagnose and treat various neurological disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI CT scans EEG EMG and nerve conduction studies.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs and condition.
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies including physical therapy occupational therapy and speech therapy.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures nerve blocks and Botox injections when necessary.
- Monitor and manage patients progress over time adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions treatment options and selfcare strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including primary care physicians specialists nurses and therapists to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance knowledge and treatment options in the field of neurology.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training in Neurology from an accredited residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
- State medical license and DEA registration.
- Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in a specific area of neurology (e.g. epilepsy stroke movement disorders neuromuscular disorders).
- Experience in academic medicine teaching or research.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and involvement in professional organizations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
