Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical and IT Specialist to join our Warehouse and Ecommerce Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving the technological infrastructure of our warehouse and Ecommerce platforms.
This role involves ensuring seamless operations troubleshooting technical issues and implementing new technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for warehouse management systems (WMS) Ecommerce platforms and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues within the warehouse and Ecommerce operations. Maintain and upgrade IT systems ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
2. System Management: Oversee the integration and functionality of the WMS Ecommerce platforms and other related systems. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems performing regular audits and updates. Manage user accounts permissions and security settings for all relevant systems.
3. Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to identify and implement technological improvements. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of all systems. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware software and network services.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on warehouse and Ecommerce operations identifying areas for improvement. Implement data tracking and analysis tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
5. Training and Documentation: Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and other users on new systems and technologies. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems and processes. Create user manuals and guides to assist staff with technologyrelated tasks.
6. Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects aimed at improving warehouse and Ecommerce operations. Ensure projects are completed on time within scope and within budget. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 57 years of experience in IT support preferably within a warehouse or Ecommerce environment
Proven experience with WMS and Ecommerce platforms such as SAP Oracle Shopify Magento etc.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network and system administration.
Proficiency in database management and SQL.
Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions.
Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A Network or Security. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. Certified Information Systems Security Professional
