We are looking to hire a Receptionist Cum Telephone Operator for one of our clients.
Qualifications:
- Female candidates below 40 years preferred.
- Sound academic background with GCE O/L and A/L.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar capacity or related position preferred.
- Possess good telephone manners and interpersonal skills.
- Be wellgroomed personable friendly and energetic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Sinhala & English are a must.
- Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.
- Residing near Mt Lavinia will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors: Welcoming guests clients and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Operating the telephone system: Answering incoming calls transferring calls to appropriate individuals and taking messages accurately.
- Managing inquiries: Responding to inquiries from callers or visitors and providing information about the company products or services as needed.
- Managing appointments: Scheduling appointments for clients or visitors and coordinating with staff members to ensure availability.
- Handling correspondence: Sorting and distributing incoming mail and faxes as well as preparing outgoing mail and packages for postage or courier services.
