CDL Class A First Seat Driver

Position: CDL Class A First Seat Driver (OTR)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A First Seat Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic excellent driving record and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a First Seat Driver you will be responsible for operating our commercial motor vehicles and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

Transport goods and materials to various destinations across the United States

Follow all traffic and safety laws and regulations

Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles

Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods

Maintain accurate records of mileage fuel and delivery logs

Adhere to company policies and procedures

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles as needed

Report any accidents incidents or mechanical issues to management immediately

Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards customers and fellow team members

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a OTR commercial driver

Must be at least 21 years old

Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test

Strong communication and customer service skills

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Flexibility to work long hours and travel overnight as needed

Will be home every 2 weeks

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures
