We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to join our garment/textile manufacturing company in Semarang Central Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR functions ensuring compliance with employment laws and supporting our staffs wellbeing and development. Fluency in English and a comprehensive understanding of employment government rules are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily HR operations and manage the HR team.
- Implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
- Maintain and update employee records.
- Coordinate the recruitment process including job postings candidate screening interviews and onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and issues.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure a positive work environment.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee contracts grievances and disciplinary procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and implement necessary changes in HR practices.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performancerelated issues.
- Implement strategies to enhance employee performance and productivity.
- Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management review.
- Use HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR preferably in the garment/textile manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be willing to relocate to Semarang Central Java.
- Proven track record in managing HR functions in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
