Manage the OES Mechanical Engineering team ensuring compliance with Osmoflos
policies procedures processes and quality accreditations.
Effectively coordinate Mechanical resources to ensure designs are completed
according to agreed schedule and meet clients specifications and requirements.
Ensure the Mechanical Engineering team maintains an effective working
relationship with other disciplines and the Osmoflo Proposals and Projects teams.
Allocate Mechanical resources in consultation with the Engineering Manager
Pune.
Manage the performance of the team including completing staff performance
reviews according to Osmoflos Performance and Development framework.
Manage the training and development needs of the Mechanical team.
In coordination with the PC&S team manage recruitment and onboarding of OES
Mechanical team.
Ensure that staff timesheets are completed with appropriate detail and submitted
on time.

Adherence to Osmoflos Quality System for all design work carried out.
Manage the detailed Mechanical design and drafting of the allocated projects.
Develop optimised design processes including documentation.
Coordinate attend and participate in internal and external (customer) project
meetings and vendor meetings.
Ensure Mechanical design and drafting processes are undertaken efficiently and
according to agreed budgets specifications and schedules.
Ensure that any design changes are formally documents as Project Change
Requests (PCR)
Advise team leader managers and projects teams as soon as any design delays are
identified. Put forward innovative solutions to mitigate any delays.
Identify mechanical risks in Projects and advise execution and delivery teams and
devise mitigation strategies.
Manage external agencies for subcontracted works to ensure that they are
fulfilling their responsibilities under the contract and ensure their output meetings
quality requirements and agreed timeframes.
Identify opportunities for improvement in the development and design of
templates standard documents and the standardisation of processes.
Advise and support members in other disciplines and departments on all areas of
mechanical engineering design and drafting through all phases of project delivery.
Ensure designs are both technical and commercial sound.
Review previous and ongoing design work to identify opportunities to increase
quality and cost effectiveness of designs.

Continuous
Improvement

Provide solutions for nonconfirming products.
Provide solutions for safety and environmental incidents
Contribute to and support all Osmoflos sales efforts by providing supporting to
Sales and Proposals team in completing designs documentation and costings as
required.
Assist in the identification of improvements and continuous
development/improvement of templates design guidelines and standardisation of
documentation.
Drive ongoing technical developments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to Osmoflos culture of innovation by seeking and developing
innovations.

Investigate an close out Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) and Non
Conformance Report (NCR) issues.

Other Tasks Monitor costs and budgets closely and take corrective action where required.

Complete Engineering and Management progress summary and financial reports
within required timeframes.
Work collaboratively with Osmoflo staff located in other offices.
Coordinate and attend effective meetings.
Attend all training as required.
Lead by example ensure that you are working in a safe manner.
Ensure compliance of Mechanical Engineering team with QHSE legislation policies
and procedures.
