Title: Data Stage Developer (IBM InfoSphere/ETL)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data integration.
• Develop data mapping and transformation logic to meet project requirements.
• Perform data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) from various source systems to target systems.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance scalability and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts data architects and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data integration workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and ETL technologies.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in designing and developing ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL concepts including data extraction transformation and loading.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server DB2).
• Experience with data modeling and data architecture principles.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detailoriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other ETL tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and platforms (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell scripting).
• Certification in IBM InfoSphere DataStage or related technologies.
