Job Summary:
Review and approve manufacturer drawings for different equipment specifically within Oil & Gas Substation Design.
Minimum qualification required is B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience predominantly in Vendor Design Engineering.
English language proficiency is necessary with Russian language skills considered as an advantage.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and submitting manufacturer drawings and equipment details to clients coordinating with various teams for problemsolving ensuring project schedule alignment and following up with manufacturers.
The role involves checking vendor GA parameters on primary equipment layout and coordinating with vendors for changes in layout design.
The job holder will be expected to provide support to the Site team on site queries on manufactured equipment and release manufacturing clearance to vendors on approval of engineering drawings from clients.
Technical expertise required includes a basic understanding of Substation equipment and layouts verification of Manufacturer drawings preparation of engineering calculations and effective communication with manufacturers.
Must have knowledge of on AIS Substation Equipment in Voltage level of 132kV 220kV and above and familiarity with GOST Russian Standards.
Will report internally to the Head of Engineering Project Engineering Manager Design Leads and Site Execution team.
External interactions will include Vendors & Manufacturers (Engineering team).
