Job Title: Speech Therapist

Hourly Pay Rate: $41/hr (Negotiable)

Shift: On Call Per Diem Position

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our healthcare team in San Bernardino California. This per diem position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $41/hr which is negotiable based on experience. The role involves being on call to provide speech therapy services to patients ensuring high standards of care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech language and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve patients communication and swallowing abilities.
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for home practice.
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Utilize evidencebased practices to deliver effective speech therapy interventions.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Stay current with developments in the field of speech therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist.
• Active Speech Therapist license in the state of California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
