Java Backed Developer

Role: Java Backed Developer(Prior ExAMEX is Mandatory)

Location: AZ or FL

Job Summary: As a Java Backend Developer you will design implement and maintain backend components for web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver highquality scalable and robust software solutions.

Qualifications:



Education:


Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).



Experience:



8 years of experience in Java backend development.

Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot Hibernate and JPA.
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Experience with databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).



Skills:


Proficiency in Java programming language.
Strong understanding of objectoriented programming (OOP) principles.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.




Responsibilities:


Design develop and maintain backend components using Java and related technologies.
Implement RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality and thirdparty integrations.
Optimize and tune the performance of the backend services and databases.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Write clean scalable and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing backend systems and implement solutions.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend components and systems.
Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure application integrity.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage deployment pipelines and ensure smooth releases.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve backend development processes.


Preferred Qualifications:


Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience with additional programming languages such as Python Scala or Kotlin.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB.
Experience with messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka).
Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban).
