Job Description

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious and wellestablished firm of chartered accountants based in Newbury. Key responsibilities:


As an Accounts & Outsourcing Senior/Assistant Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of clients delivering a comprehensive range of accounting and outsourcing services. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements managing bookkeeping tasks providing insightful financial advice and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive approach strong technical skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.


  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients ensuring the delivery of highquality accounting and outsourcing services.
  • Prepare and review financial statements management accounts and yearend accounts for a diverse range of clients.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and VAT return preparation ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Provide clients with detailed financial analysis and insights to support their business decisions.
  • Oversee and support the work of junior team members providing training and mentorship as needed.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards tax regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and developments ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of the accounting profession.


Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or partqualified with a strong background in accounting and outsourcing.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a firm of chartered accountants.
  • Excellent technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks Sage and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A proactive and selfmotivated approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff members.
