Area Manager (Sales) – Saudi Arabia & Bahrain Job Summary:

Responsible for driving profitable sales of products, solutions and services in the allocated region and allocated key accounts. Drives for growth and penetration in the allocated region consistent with Customers’ needs and according to Company strategy, objectives and policies. Promotes and maintains a customer focused culture within the organization to drive customer happiness in the region.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Responsible to Grow the business in the igned region of Saudi Arabia (Majorly Oil and Gas and Power & Water)
  • Develop direct personal contact with Target Accounts and routinely conducts Customer and Distributor visits.
  • Drive growth in allocated key accounts for ASCO, TopWorx, AVENTICS, TESCOM, AGI and Control & Software portfolio.
  • ist Finance department in managing receivables (DSO).
  • Services existing accounts, acquires orders, and elishes new accounts by planning and prioritizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of distributors and/or customers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management advised by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory yses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; elishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • O&G and P&W will be key segments in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to work on and experience in this industry will be preferable.
  • Should have high amount of focus on Service and solution which is possible with close understanding of the customer needs and relationship.
  • Customers: Onshore/Offshore of ARAMCO, BAPCO, GPIC, ALBA, SEC, ENGIE, ASHOMCO, TIHAMA, SWCC, MARAFIQ, JIGPC, NOMAC, and related EPCs & Contractors.
  • Build coalitions with BDMs and GPPP/GP3 Sales on targeted project pursuits.
  • Work closely with other Emerson BUs and maximize cooperation and joint project activities: SWD, STO, LSTA, ..etc
  • Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are strictly followed with all business transactions
