The AV Technician works in a fast and versatile environment providing safe and efficient installation setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for events. Collaborating with different teams they contribute to bringing quality events to life.
Tasks
- Set up operating and dismantling of different types of events (including conferences)
- Communicating effectively with Event Coordinators in the runup to and during the implementation of events
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual equipment promptly during events
- Operating vehicles and equipment in safe and efficient ways according to Health & Safety regulations
- Adhering to and maintaining safety protocols
- Perform other duties as required from time to time
Requirements
- Proven previous experience as an AudioVisual Rigger in events and conferences;
- Technical Knowledge of a variety of audiovisual systems;
- Organised with an eye for detail and able to work with minimum supervision;
- Excellent communication skills and a good team player;
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment and adhere to deadlines
- Have a flexible approach to working hours sometimes sociable hours (nights evenings public holidays)
- Must be in possession of a clean driving license preferably in possession of a C or C1 driving license
