Legal Counsel mfd- Corporate Banking Law

Our client is an international financial institution committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity. As part of their continuous effort we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Counsel (m/f/d) for their Corporate Banking Law Team.

Tasks

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate banking matters including loan agreements credit facilities syndications and trade finance.
• Draft review and negotiate various types of legal documentation related to corporate banking transactions.
• Ensure compliance with European banking regulations and internal policies.
• Advise on regulatory changes and their impact on the banks operations.
• Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
• Support the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and provide training on legal issues to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure seamless legal support for business initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree or Master of Laws (Wirtschaftsjurist)
• Several years of postqualification experience preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking law and European financial regulations.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
• Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in English and German language
