Job Description

As a Lead AWS Cloud Engineer you will play a critical role in designing building and managing cloudbased applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The candidate will be a part of the assessment of the current state of the onpremise applications and its dependencies. The candidate will also leverage predefined cloud architecture that aligns with performance scalability security and cost requirements. Along with

o Implement a streaming solution for seamless data transfer from onpremise to the cloud

o Plan and design the cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

o Implement and maintain cloud resources including servers storage and network systems.

o Ensure scalability security and high availability of cloud solutions.

o Proficient in implementing cloud architecture designs to create operational environments based on architectural plans.

Skills:

o Proficiency in AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda etc.).

o Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform CloudFormation).

o Scripting skills (Python Bash PowerShell).

o Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes).

o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.

o Data Engineering experience

Data integration

Creation of Data Pipelines

Data security knowledge

o Kafka

o Jira

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Software Engineering or related fields.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS ITIL TOGAF PMP CKA DNS SSL VPN IPAM or CCA.
