Job Description

About the role: Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Flight Operations Contracts Governance Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar. As Flight Operations Contracts Governance Officer, you will be responsible for centralizing and processing Flight Operations Group Cost Committee (GCC) reports for activities across Flight Operations. In this role, you will also ist in the Governance of all existing/ new contracts and processing of Group Cost Committee (GCC) / procurement processes for all departments under Flight Operations. Specific responsibilities for the role include: • Process with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed to ensure all deadlines and conditions described in the contracts are met (e.g. start date, service terms, payment terms, etc.). • Responsible for organizing system of digital records of the contracts database through excel/SharePoint on the weekly basis. and able to extract the data from the system for the records. • Gather the data information and coordinate with Financial/ Procurement/ Legal team which include creating the Group Cost Committee (GCC) request, e-Sourcing, Subscription Services and Flight Operations Contracts, by using Company tools (e-Sourcing, Q-Contract Approval System(Q-CAS), Group Cost Committee (GCC), etc.). • Responsible for the Flight Operations contract support activities (Group Cost Committee (GCC), Q-Contract Approval System (Q-CAS), e-Sourcing, etc.) and maintaining the records as directed by VP Fuel Optimization, PMO and Contracts Governance and Contracts Governance and/or line manager. • Maintain, yze and convert the department contract statistics and records with the highest standards of accuracy and presentation. Statistics and records will be shared every month with the HOD and/or Line Manager for the delivery outcome. • Doent and maintain the backup records for all the Group Cost Committee (GCC) contracts / reports within the Flight Operations which can be used for further references in the future. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following ss and qualifications: • Relevant College or University qualifications with minimum 4 years of job-related experience. • Experience in finance, procurement and processing supplier contracts. • Experience on CMC / Single source / Sole source if the vendor is a Sole or single source, PE/RFQ for procurement to negotiate the commercial aspects with the supplier. • Well-developed ytical and reporting expertise. • Ability to yze and interpret key data information. • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
