Job Description

Job Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and meet revenue targets. This role involves analyzing sales data managing product assortment setting up promotional offers and collaborating with various departments to enhance the online shopping experience. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for achieving sales targets and will be eligible for commission based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the pharmacys revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager to align merchandising strategies with overall business goals.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance product trends and promotional effectiveness.
  • Use advanced analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Understand and utilize analytics jargon and metrics such as conversion rates average order value (AOV) customer lifetime value (CLV) and more.

Healthcare Expertise:

  • Possess a strong understanding of the healthcare and cosmetic industry.
  • Stay updated with the latest healthcare and cosmetic products and regulations.
  • Ensure that product information is accurate compliant and uptodate.

Promotions and Offers:

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns and special offers to drive sales.
  • Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to promote offers through various channels.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience on the website.
  • Work with the Ecommerce Designer to optimize product displays and enhance visual appeal.
  • Address customer feedback related to product assortment and promotions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the purchasing marketing and customer service teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and partners to negotiate terms and manage relationships.
  • Participate in crossfunctional meetings to stay informed about business updates and initiatives.

Seasonal Marketing Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to incorporate the seasonal marketing plan into merchandising activities.
  • Adjust the websites content and layout to align with seasonal promotions and overall marketing direction.
  • Ensure that merchandising strategies support and enhance seasonal marketing campaigns.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in ecommerce merchandising.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
  • Implement feedback and lessons learned from past campaigns to drive future success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Healthcare Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a merchandising or sales management role preferably in the ecommerce or healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Expertise in healthcare cosmetic and medical products.
  • Familiarity with analytics metrics and industry jargon.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using analytics and ecommerce platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
