Job Description

Job Objective:

Support the organization in achieving organizational value by managing end-end Strategy Planning process within the organization, ensuring alignment and adherence across all Business Units and by governing the implementation of key strategic initiatives.

Strategic:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Beyon CEO/CSO to translate CEO’s vision into the Organization strategy pack
  • Work closely with the Function Head and Sub-Function Managers to prepare the strategic initiatives for the function aligned to the Organization Strategy
  • Monitor and report performance against strategic initiatives

Financial:

  • Work closely with the Functional Head and Sub-Function Managers to prepare overall budget for the Function
  • Monitor and track adherence to the approved budget; highlight deviations and recommend corrective course of action

Operational:

  • Timely share all communications related to corporate strategy within the Organization.
  • Plan and organize strategy planning workshops with all the Business Units and CEO/CSO
  • Design the templates and frameworks for Business Units to develop strategic initiatives
  • Understand the strategic intent of the Organization to identify and recommend criteria for prioritising strategic initiatives to CEO and senior management team. Work closely with Business Units to prioritise strategic initiatives based on the set criteria
  • Prepare, maintain and regularly update the database of strategic objectives and initiatives for all Business Units
  • Coordinate with Business Units to track, monitor and report progress on the of strategic initiatives and achievement against set KPIs
  • Lead the process for performance review sessions with Beyon entities including preparation of templates, review of packs, circulation of actions, etc.
  • Plan and organize Executive Management Team (EMT) meetings, develop and maintain terms of reference, timely prepare and circulate EMT agenda, minutes of meeting etc.
  • Plan and organize EXCO and Board Meetings in relation to strategy topics: coordinate with Business Units to prepare doents for EXCO and Board review in relation to strategy
  • Work closely with Business Units for planning and organising trainings and knowledge sharing sessions on strategy

Regularly review the Corporate Strategy Planning and provide inputs to enhance process efficiency and robustness

People:

  • Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs
  • Ensure timely completion of PMR process for self and the team
  • Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
  • Ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
