REPORTS TO: Program Coordinator
JOB OR POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site Coordinator oversees the daily coordination of the
program at their assigned school site. Including but not limited to the daily upkeep of the
attendance database system monitoring program flow and structure maintaining schoolbased
relationships with Administrators and Teachers. Site Coordinators train staff delegate tasks and
oversee the communication of programs to the public.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of school operation and ability to relate effectively to students staff and
parents.
Skills in the areas of organization attention to detail problem solving and
commitment to follow through on tasks.
Fulfill the job responsibility that each site entails.
Will attend team meetings with Program Managers and Program Director as well as
attend mandatory training conferences and seminars.
Train Peer Advisors along with keeping staff updated on any new material.
Host weekly team meetings with Peer Advisors.
Look at student goals opportunities that can be achieved advanced placement credit
recovery online coursework daily instruction and mentoring
Delegate tasks to appropriate team members.
Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure projects are delivered on time
and within budget.
Organize and/or participate in afterhours events including but not limited to: senior
activities financial aid college and career planning senior awards curriculum night
high school and middle school parent night.
Evaluate program outcomes and analyze its effectiveness; adjust program as needed to
meet student needs.
Collaborate with the College and Career Coordinator Internship and Career Manager
Data Coordinator Black Student Success Initiative Coordinator (BSSI) English Learner
Success Initiative Coordinator (ELSI) Academic Coordinator Mentor Coordinator.
Collect and analyze data to gauge students success as well as submit monthly reports to
the data team.
Must respond promptly to texts and emails.
Have reliable transportation internet and computer access.
Practice ethical and professional standards of conduct including the requirements of
confidentiality regarding student and personnel information. Demonstrate
professionalism through punctuality and have consistent reliable attendance. Comply
with all NCRF and district policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong Math Skills are a Plus (Geometry Algebra I & II).
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
Strong Mentoring Skills are a Plus.
Strong Managerial Skills.
Ability to manage and oversee between 5 to 10 staff members at a time.
Able to work effectively with others.
Minimum of a cumulative 2.5 GPA.
Patient and able to connect with students.
Passionate about making a difference with the underrepresented and underserved student
body.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively exercise judgment and creativity
organize work set priorities meet deadlines and work under pressure with constant
disruptions.
Ability to work as part of a team and continue learning through professional
development.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with staff and public.
Skills that exemplify high levels of computer proficiency and application of technology.
(proficient in MS ExcelWord PowerPoint and Google Platform).
Excellent skills in English grammar spelling and punctuation.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
Ability to make public presentations in small or large group settings.
Ability to handle confidential matters in an ethical manner.
Must be available for at least 3040 hours per week.
Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
All NCRF employees/contractors shall undergo a criminal background check including a
fingerprint check by State and/or FBI.
PAY RANGE: $22$23.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completion of a 4 year college degree program.
2. Bilingual preferred. Fluent in reading writing and speaking. Spanish is preferred.
3. All NCRF employees/contractors shall undergo a criminal background check including a
fingerprint check by State and/or FBI.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit lift carry
move about hear and speak. Employee may be required to perform extensive work at a
computer display terminal. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 to 50
pounds.
