Position: Construction Estimator(latAm)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST

Salary Range: $2.000 $3.000 usd Monthly

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor Agreement

The Company is a commercial pool and hardscape construction company specialized in pool designs and construction projects for luxury apartments and condominiums student housing and community living facilities.

Scope of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Estimator who will play a critical role in the preparation of financial and technical estimates for our construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure accurate costing and budgeting from initial project conceptualization through to completion.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labor estimates.
• Assets cost effectiveness of products projects or services tracking actual cost relatives to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients vendors personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed estimates by gathering proposals blueprints specifications and related documents.
• Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time materials and labor expenses.
• Conduct postproject analysis to determine areas for future improvement
• Participate in bid preparation and contract negotiations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field
• 35 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes materials and market conditions
• Familiarity with CAD software like Bluebeam Revu ProEst or similar
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
