We are looking to speak with experienced retail or craft Butchers who are passionate about delivering quality products to customers as well as having a good ability to build rapport with customers and upsell products within a customerfacing environment.

Our client will offer a competitive salary from 14.00 17.00 per hour DOE plus benefits.

The ideal candidate for this Retail Butcher Job:

• Previous experience as a butcher within a retail environment is essential.
  
• Outstanding customer service skills with a confident and outgoing personality.
  
• Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
  
• Strong attention to detail with key organisational skills
  
• Indepth knowledge of HACCP.
  
• Flexible to work early mornings with occasional late evenings and weekends
  

The Responsibilities for this Retail Butcher Job:

• Receiving and inspecting carcasses or cuts of meat determining the appropriate method of butchering and using tools to cut trim portion and prepare the meat according to customer orders and standards.
  
• Assist customers in selecting the right cuts of meat provide cooking advice and answer questions about the distinct types of meat.
  
• Follow proper hygiene practices ensure proper storage and handling of meat clean and sanitize equipment and work areas regularly and adhere to local health regulations.
  
• May be responsible for weighing and pricing meat products as well as packaging them appropriately for display or sale.
  
• Provide excellent customer service by providing expert knowledge about products and building rapport with customers to help upsell products.
