The Role

We are seeking an expert Android Application Developer with handson experience in Kotlin or Java.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilising Jetpack Components making API calls and adhering to UI design patterns such as Material Design.

The role also demands familiarity with cloud technologies and a collaborative mindset.

Skills Requirements

Mandatory Skillset Expertise in Kotlin or Java; Jetpack Components (Compose data binding fragments Hilt LiveData Navigation Room); Experience with libraries such as Retrofit and Volley; Unit and UI testing methodologies; Material Design

Secondary Skillset Knowledge of iOS React Native or Flutter is advantageous.

Requirements

• Utilize Kotlin or Java to develop highquality Android applications.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and adherence to Google s guidelines for app distribution.
  
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs systems flow data usage and work processes.
  
• Confer with users and investigate problem areas.
  
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis problem definition requirements solution development and proposed solutions.
  
• Document and demonstrate solutions through clear documentation flowcharts layouts diagrams charts code comments and clean code.
  
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming.
  
• Conduct systems analysis to improve operations and recommend changes in policies and procedures.
  
• Update job knowledge by studying stateoftheart development tools programming techniques and computing equipment.
