Audit Accounting Clerk 1 Month Contract

Our client a leading tourism company in South Africa are seeking a driven individual to join their team as an Audit/Accounting Clerk. This role requires someone with a Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance or currently pursuing one. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is preferred along with a basic understanding of South African legislation.

Main Job Functions:

• Process cashbooks journal entries and reconciliation.
  
• Handle payroll capturing and submitting EMP201 returns.
  
• File UIF and ROE with the Department of Labour.
  
• Process VAT.
  
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
  
• Prepare yearend AFS file.
  
• Basic customer and supplier processing and reconciliation.
  

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance .
  
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience advantageous.
  
• Basic understanding of South African legislation.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software preferred.
