Operational Accounts Clerk

The main purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with the operational team in order to instil a controlled environment with a high level of financial awareness.

Skills :

• Regular reporting and followup of financial health checks across the business
• Provide handson assistance to internal departments in order to resolve any queries
• Direct involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / noncompliance monitoring
• Highlighting of stock damages / anomalies to relevant parties
• Assist with month end and year end closings
• Routine monthly reporting as well as adhoc reporting requests
• Assist operational finance team in general administration and follow up

Health and Safety

• Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Followup on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
