Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles with a proven ability to manage financial transactions and records accurately. This role requires attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daytoday financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct day book suppliers ledger customer ledger and general ledger.
• Reconcile all accounts within financial statements.
• Perform partial checks of the posting process.
• Complete monthly sales tax returns and other tax forms.
• Enter data maintain records create reports and prepare financial statements.
• Post various journal entries to the general ledger for monthend and yearend closings.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for financial statements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
• Proven ability to calculate post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Handson experience with QuickBooks Online software. Certified Pro Advisor preferred.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office software.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
• CPA license designation (U.S. or other country) preferred.
