We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles with a proven ability to manage financial transactions and records accurately. This role requires attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daytoday financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct day book suppliers ledger customer ledger and general ledger.
- Reconcile all accounts within financial statements.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Complete monthly sales tax returns and other tax forms.
- Enter data maintain records create reports and prepare financial statements.
- Post various journal entries to the general ledger for monthend and yearend closings.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for financial statements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Handson experience with QuickBooks Online software. Certified Pro Advisor preferred.
- Proficiency in English and MS Office software.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
- CPA license designation (U.S. or other country) preferred.
