Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Flow Specialist responsible for all duties of preparing packing or moving material for manufacturing processing or shipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Material Management:

  • Keeps warehouse and inventory locations neat orderly and organized.
  • Delivers parts to next work center/ department based on router.

Receiving:

  • Moves incoming parts to staging area.
  • Visual inspect parts for condition defects such as rust or damage.
  • Verify counts against packing list for receipts.

Packing/ Shipping:

  • Packs bands and shrink wraps parts as required per packaging instructions.
  • Correctly updates computer program for schedule due date quantities and shipment details.
  • Reviews packaging requirements and advises supervisor of any necessary changes. Provides feedback on packaging instructions on Prototype Jobs.
  • Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions (MPCD).

All Areas:

  • Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements.
  • Ability to safely operate sitdown and standup forklifts.
  • Ensures that the work area is clean orderly and safe.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customers.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 12 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours:

  • Full Time 40 hours per week
  • Monday Friday: 10:00AM6:30PM
