Salary: $25.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

Tasks:

Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations

Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers calipers)

Enter codes specifying speed feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

Clean and maintain workspace

Credentials:

Forklift Operator Certification

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Laser levelling/aligning

Operate laser cutters

Area of Work Experience:

Fabrication

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Attention to detail

Handeye coordination

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment:

Steeltoed safety boots
