#2. Two (2) to Four (4) years of applicable experience required.

#3. Current Engineering Intern Certification encouraged at this level.

#4. Preferred software experience: EMTPRV ; PSS/E ; PSCAD ; ETAP ; SKM ; EasyPower ; CYMTCC; Milsoft EA WindMil ; LightTable; Office Suite

Client is seeking a Level II electrical engineering professional to join our Renewables Studies and Utility System Planning team to perform related engineering analysis necessary in renewables and power utility planning. Project Engineer II performs a variety of tasks providing technical expertise and leadership to solve design problems complete electrical system studies and manage individual project tasks under some supervision. Incumbents are expected to perform a variety of routine and complex tasks to solve power utility design problems effectively communicate within the design and project management team and provide technical guidance on unusual or complex problems to comply with applicable standards such as IEEE the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and NEC as applicable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of challenges facing the power industry today. This position reports to the Division Team Lead or Division Manager.
