The role:

Were on the lookout for a passionate Computer Science & STEM Instructor to join our team! As an instructor youll play a vital role in guiding students as they learn coding concepts and build projects through our proprietary platform.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for software engineering and technology experience in tutoring preteens or teens and a startup mindset. Our instructors work with different schools across the US to provide electives and afterschool coding programs as well as coding camps private tutoring and weekly small group tutoring sessions (all online and remote).

The primary responsibilities of the instructor include:

• Leading and instructing virtual classes for students (ages 718) in the area of elementary computer science and programming concepts
• Providing students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress
• Creating a dynamic and fun virtual classroom environment
• Reviewing curriculum materials and assessing students progress and learning needs
• Troubleshoot and quality test our web application
• Train in different subjects and curriculum on a regular basis
• Communicate and meet regularly with management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English
• A degree or currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Science Computer Science Information Technology Education or other related field of study.
• Previous experience related to teaching/mentoring/tutoring students.
