We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Labrador City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight on a variety of projects related to structural engineering for our heavy industrial clients.

• Provide technical leadership and oversight on structural engineering projects.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
• Perform structural analysis and design.
• Prepare and review project reports construction drawings specifications and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers architects and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with client representatives and contractors as required during construction phase.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or remediation.
• Review and provide technical guidance on structural engineering standards and codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.

Our essentials

• Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
  
• 5 years of experience in Industrial Mining & Metal Oil and Gas Petrochemicals Power or Nuclear plants/facilities.
  
• Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
  
• Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
  
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
