RD Test Engineer

Tasks

• Design qualify and install new and improved test equipment (from IQC to OQC)
• Develop fixtures tooling and equipment for prototype test benches and highvolume qualification of new products in collaboration with mechanical engineering and product development
• Programming / control of test devices and automated data recording
• Validation and qualification of new and existing measurement infrastructures (MSA GR&R)
• Data acquisition analysis and reporting to team and project leaders
• Documentation of test procedures and training of coworkers on new test devices
• Travel up to 10% to transfer the developed processes to multiple production sites
• Collaborate and contribute in multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering Physics or similar
• Knowledgeable in optical metrology methods in a production environment (Interferometer Spectrometer Wavefront etc.)
• Strong handson knowledge and skills in setting up test procedures and devices
• Good programming skills in Python Arduino and advantageously also PLC (Beckhoff)
• Experience in data acquisition processing and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with FMEA Gage R&R DOE SPC and other statistical modelling
• Able to present complex technical content to a broader audience
• Openminded for challenging ideas in dynamic environments with changing priorities
• Quick thinker creative persistent and empathic
• Proficiency in English and German is an advantage
