Design Engineer - Solar Power Solutions

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer for a company dealing in Solar Powers. You will play a key role in the design and development of innovative solar energy systems. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to create optimal solutions that maximize energy output efficiency and costeffectiveness while meeting project requirements and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design Solar photovoltaic (PV) using Custom Software tools (Sketchup Solar Labs PVSyst Autocad etc) including rooftop groundmounted and solar canopy installations utilizing industryleading software tools and methodologies.
• Perform accurate system sizing calculations and Create electrical singleline diagrams panel layouts and connection diagrams using computeraided design software.
• Develop optimal designs with SLD conduit and wire scheduling routing and equipment layout plans and conceptual 3D renderings.
• Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements.
• Building detailed bills of materials and balance of system components based on system specifications.
• Coordinate with Sales to develop complete proposal packages.
• Crossfunctional interaction with Procurement and Execution for technical clearances and approvals in a timely manner.
• Conducting remote monitoring of installed plants and ascertaining deviations if any to the designed performance levels.
• Assisting operation and maintenance teams to analyze plant performance identify resolution steps and maintain a troubleshooting repository.
• Assist in documenting and developing industry best practices standards and guidelines.
• Understanding the technical specifications and features of the products. Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending conferences exhibitions online research and reading research publications.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in engineering degree in Electricals or electronics or Mechanical.
• Proficiency in Custom Software Tools like Sketchup Solar Labs PVSyst Autocad.
• Previous 35 years of Project management experience.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with the ability to assess technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
