Accounts Payable Specialist

Our clientis a global logistics company offering transport and related services by land sea rail and air. They particularly focus on costefficient sustainable and environmentally friendly transport. With an annual turnover of more than 900 million euros our client is one of the largest transport companies in Europe with offices in 31 countries across Europe North and South America Asia and Australia employing around 1500 employees in total.

Position Description

In a nutshell you prepare incoming invoices and register them in our system. You check all invoices place them in the correct classification and ensure that they are all registered correctly. Booking and processing banks. You can also do this by combining the monthly statements and transactions. Of course you also keep in touch with their suppliers regarding all invoicing.

Checking and entering invoices.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing disputes.

Optimizing the existing systems to get the most out of it.

Preparing management reports.

Processing intercompany supplier overviews and following up on contradictions.

Provide support for periodic closings.

You have 12 years of experience in a similar position.

knowledge of the English language spoken and written.

Knowledge of Excel and SAP is a plus.
