Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Officer to join our team. The Communications Officer will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the public image of our organization. This role involves creating compelling content managing media relations coordinating public events and implementing communication strategies to promote our mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Media Relations:

   • Build and maintain relationships with journalists media outlets and influencers.
   • Draft and distribute press releases and respond to media inquiries.
   • Arrange and coordinate media interviews and press conferences.

2. Internal Communications:

   • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
   • Create and distribute internal newsletters memos and announcements.

3. Social Media Management:

   • Manage the organization’s social media accounts including creating and scheduling posts engaging with followers and monitoring social media trends.
   • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics.

4. Event Coordination:

   • Plan and execute public events including press conferences community events and promotional activities.
   • Coordinate logistics marketing materials and media coverage for events.

5. Communication Strategy Development:

   • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans and strategies.
   • Conduct research and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
