ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new opportunity with a growing real estate development company looking to hire fulltime IT Help Desk Specialist. This position reports to the onproperty IT Manager and works with them along with the parent company’s IT team.
This position is entirely onsite – local applicants only schedule includes working weekends Saturday and Sunday. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Be a ‘hands on’ technologist that will provide technical support to both our internal team and our guests for various issues
- Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Handling Active Directory account provisioning and setting up group permissions
- Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software
- Running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets
- Responding to user calls and emails to troubleshoot reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve the issue
- Assist users with Operating System issues desktop software and network/local printer issues
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve adhoc incidents with hardware software when needed
- Administer email team collaboration platform and antivirus systems
- Setup of peripherals and components when necessary
- Help set up audio/visual components for inhouse and guest events.
- Assist with troubleshooting Property Management Software (PMS) and Point of Sales (POS) software
- Assist with troubleshooting an onpremises VoIP solution
- Keep track of IT supplies and equipment
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years’ experience
- A flexible cando attitude with customer orientation and strong dependability
- Reliable punctual wellorganized selfmotivator who works well alone and with others
- Experience with Windows 10 computers.
- Understanding of networking concepts: DHCP DNS LAN/WAN TCP/IP VoIP PoE etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Customeroriented and cooltemperament
- Able to work in a mixed hospitality/office environment
- Experience working within hospitalit
- Knowledge of Oracle Opera Cloud PMS
- Knowledge of Oracle Micros
- Experience working with MFA and RMM solutions
