Betai & Vortex CoLab are jointly looking for a Web Designer to collaborate with both organizations on a hybrid position (3 days/week at Betai and 2 days/week at Vortex CoLab).

• VortexCoLab is a growing collaborative laboratory that combines academia and industry allies in an innovation framework to boost tech transfer in the area of cyberphysical systems and cybersecurity. About the position

We are looking for a Web Designer to work alongside other designers to deliver our programs and brand material.

What you will do

• Plan design and create web pages / full websites using Wordpress as the main platform;
• Develop logos and branding materials for our programs;
• Work from the concept wireframes and mockups to final production;
• Perform updates and basic maintenance on new and existing websites;
• Take part in all creative moments throughout the project such as brainstorms social media campaigns and brand activations.

Who you are:

MUST HAVE

• Experience working with Wordpress;
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS;
• Basic knowledge of Javascript;
• Understand responsive design concepts;
• Photoshop & Illustrator skills;
• A continuous learning attitude;
• Proficient in English.

OPTIONAL BUT VALUED

• Video editing skills;
• Motion graphics (After Effects) skills.

Note: if your bachelors or masters was done outside Portugal you will need your diploma to be recognized by DGES.

The schedule is flexible: Youre expected to join all team meetings but also to autonomously manage your remaining schedule and work deliveries.

Compensation package:

• Salary range from 16 800 to 23 800;
• Food allowance;
• Life insurance;
• Health insurance (extended to all households);
• Phone and Computer;

Note: this is a contract with term until December 2025.
