Tandoori Twist (an offering from Tinyhus) is a newly established Indian restaurant and takeaway in Copenhagen. We are looking for a kitchen chef with expertise in Indian cuisine with exposure in Continental dishes.
The work is full time 37hrs weekly divided by 6 days holiday pay and an amazing workplace.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include studying recipes setting up menus
Estimate food requirements and costs.
Prepare and cook highquality authentic full course meals and individual dishes and foods. During nonbusy times you need to be prepared to have a customerfacing role (e.g. take food orders directly and serve customers).
Maintain & manage inventory and records of food supplies and equipment.
Control food wastage without compromising on food quality.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at all the times.
Provide assistance and guidance all kitchen staff and helpers.

Requirements
Qualifications and Language proficiency
Ability to communicate in conversational English
Diploma or certification in Hotel or Restaurant Management is advantegeous
Experience
At least 45 years of handson experience in Indian cooking is required. Experience with Tandoor and the bread section (example naan and roti in tandoor lachcha parata stuffed paratha batura kulcha rumali roti etc) is mandatory.
Experience with Indian regional culinary delicacies will be preferred; handson cooking experience with traditional Bengali (East Indian) cuisines is highly advantageous.
Handson demonstrable exposure in continental cuisines will be preferred since our cafe and restaurant also serve continental cuisines. In case you do not have substantial exposure to continental cuisine you are willing to learn and introduce new dishes as per the requirement of the workplace
Can work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
