About the job:
We are seeking a diligent and detailoriented Market Research Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong English writing capabilities to effectively communicate research findings. This role involves gathering analyzing and relaying market data in a clear and concise manner. The Market Research Assistant will support the team by following a set process for researching new markets inputting data into Google Docs and Sheets and ensuring accurate and thorough reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Market Research:
- Perform detailed market research as per the guidelines provided.
- Utilize a 10page document template to gather necessary information about new markets.
- Identify relevant sources of information and compile comprehensive data.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze collected data to identify trends insights and potential opportunities.
- Relay information clearly and concisely in written reports.
- Ensure all reports and documents are wellorganized and errorfree.
- Documentation and Data Management:
- Input and manage data in Google Docs and Sheets.
- Format documents and spreadsheets as per company standards.
- Maintain uptodate records of all research activities and findings.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the research team to understand research needs and objectives.
- Communicate findings and progress regularly to team members.
- Ask questions and seek guidance when necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness of research.
- Follow Established Processes:
- Adhere to a structured process for researching new markets.
- Follow detailed instructions and guidelines provided by the team lead.
- Ensure consistency and thoroughness in all research activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 13 years of experience in market research or a related role (entrylevel candidates with relevant skills will be considered).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace particularly Google Docs and Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of navigating Google search for research purposes.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent English writing skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Organizational Skills:
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
Tools and Software:
- Google Workspace (Google Docs Google Sheets)
- Internet research tools and techniques
