Create / review / comment on complex PFDsHMB and P&IDs and perform P&ID walkdowns
on fabricated equipment.
Specify material of construction develop process models HMB calculations.
Familiarity with equipment components of crystallization processes such as centrifuges heat
exchangers MVR vapor compressors entrainment separators agitators mixers filters and
dryers clarifiers thickeners centrifuges conveyors
Evaluate customer/vendor inquiries and specifications and select/recommend equipment
designs for the application.
Design and selection of process equipment for the energy Industry.
Design equipment to match specifications or clearly define differences (clarifications or
exceptions list) to customer.
Develop deliverables for cost estimating design engineering and drafting.
Provide inputs for development and creation of all project drawings including P&IDs vessels
structural and piping. Ensure that all drawings match and that any changes are picked up on
all applicable drawings.
Develop/create all process documents and support for IDC.
Assist in model review (30%/60%/90%).
Recommend specify and requisition major buyout equipment items such as Vessels heat
exchangers and pumps.
Develop Precommissioning and commissioning procedures.
Confirm compliance with the customers purchase order regarding the proposal technical and
process requirements.
Perform complex process simulations utilizing SLB defined software.
Perform equipment process design and mechanical design.
Perform line sizing calculations.
Select and locate level control equipment.
Recommend control valve types and define PSV sizing basis.
Generate Control Narrative and Control Philosophy documents.
Develop cause and effect charts and participate in client HAZOP and internal HAZOP.
Produce Installation operating (Startup and Shutdown) and Maintenance Instruction
manuals including lists for Consumables Special Tools Lubricants and Utilities.
Prepare instructions for Long Term Storage of equipment
