Job Description:

Information Technology Services (ITS) is committed to providing information technology (IT) solutions to support the schools and research and administrative units at the university. ITS provides essential universitywide services in the areas of information technology and operations including the wired and wireless networks systems security and telephone services; technologyenhanced learning including multimedia classrooms and USC computing labs; enterprise information systems including email and the Kuali Financial System; highperformance computing; and IT support for the USC Shoah Foundation Institute. We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst IV to join the Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education department within Information Technology Services. The Programmer Analyst IV will be responsible for programming in languages to support develop design and implement the desired results for the software. The successful candidate will have excellent handson knowledge working with Microsoft.Net C# ASP.NET MVC Web Services SQL Server and Angula NgRx development. Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelors degree in computer science Programming or a related field
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience with computer software development troubleshooting and testing.
- Strong experience working with C# Asp.Net MVC Web services Entity Framework and MS SQL development.
- Must have demonstrable experience building applications in Angular preferably with Angular Material NgRx
- Requires indepth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Systems Analysis and Design concepts and associated tools.
- Must have the ability to lead projects communicate and report on developments.
- Must be able to work well with the team of programmers to mentor and share programming development.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills extreme attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Accountabilities:
- Programs in languages to support to develop design and implement the desired results.
- Trains and research in areas to support and augment programming skills as necessary to complete the work.
- Provides consultation advice and assistance in modifying or maintaining complex software applications.
- Designs codes tests debugs and documents programs. Troubleshoots highly complex or obscure programs.
- Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software or modifies complex existing applications.
- Installs tests and evaluates third party software. Applications typically deal with overall operating system.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested. The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
- Experience with Cloud services or solutions.
- Experience integrating with thirdparty APIs and libraries and the ability to understand them in multiple formats.
