Job Description

• Around 810 years of experience in data governance solutions (Data Catalog Data Governance and Data Quality) data warehousing / RDBMS Data management tools and technologies implementation.
• Experience in working alongside customer business and IT stakeholders at various levels from client location.
• Experience in assessing the customer data ecosystem and provide the right tool fitment and implementation/MVP roadmap strategy for data governance and data quality.
• Facilitate discussion with key data stakeholders on data governance processes and translate those into technical requirements and defining the MVP boundaries.
• Develop deep understandings of why operational differences exist what is needed to drive efficient workflow and enable users of all types to consume information and make decisions.
• Has good knowledge of Data Management and handson experience in Alation Data Catalog.
• Demonstrate understanding of client problem and their DG needs and clearly document the findings of discussions ideas and build a clear communication channel.
• Ability to define the appropriate Data Governance Target Operation Model(TOM)
• Execute onboarding of technical (Data dictionary) and business metadata(Business Glossary) into Alation Data Catalog for the identified source systems and linkage between them and ensuring the population of data lineage.
• Help in defining the Alation product roadmap by working closely with customer and technology partners.
• Ability to build a robust and scalable DG framework to onboard various source systems.
• Participate in the development and implementation of enterprise metadata standards guidelines and processes to ensure quality metadata and drive the ongoing data governance MVP.
• Assist with defining and implementing organizational data policies and standards define improved data processes support and implement a data governance framework.
• Maintenance and management of issues related to Alation implementation.
• Showcase Data Governance capabilities of Alation and the MVP outcome with the stakeholders and incorporate their feedbacks.
