Telematics tester

Position: Telematics Tester

Location: Plano TX

Duration: long term

As the Telematics Test Engineer you will have the opportunity to work closely with the latest technologies in the automotive industry. You will create test cases based on requirement analysis and specifications from the architecture and design of complex Telematics Systems.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Computer Science or a related field of study
• 3 years of vehicle systems experience (Telematics Infotainment etc.).
• 3 years experience in automotive engineering or similar testing expertise as the above summary
• Experience conducting automotive HMI feature system Bluetooth cellular telematics infotainment or component communication testing
• Understanding of Cellular Communications (GSM CDMA LTE etc.) preferred
• Significant aptitude or interest in complex testing processes
• Software and/or hardware testing knowledge
• Cellular/RF communications analysis tools such as spectrum analyzer QXDM etc. is a plus
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as MATLAB CANoe LabVIEW or dspace is a plus
• Vehicle knowledge about CAN networks and/or OBD is preferred
• Creating and Releasing DVP&R test reports test procedures as needed to meet customer requirements
