Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months experience in nurseries or hold Level 2 or 3 in childcare.

Passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for young children is a must!

**Responsibilities:**

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in various beautiful nurseries around Leeds and Wakefield

Engage children in educational and play activities

Maintain a safe and clean environment for children

Communicate effectively with parents and staff

Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations

Manage and lead activities for children



Requirements

Minimum 3 months experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting or a recognised childcare qualification (or b working towards one)

Strong communication skills in English

Ability to drive is preferred

Knowledge of early childhood education principles

Leadership qualities to guide and supervise children effectively

Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children. Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Drive business growth and development through effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible care for children.
