Job Title: Citrix Senior Engineer

Relevant Exp: 8 to 13 yrs

Location: Krakow Poland

Permanent employment or Contract

Availability: ASAP

Hours will be typical workday hours with the occasional late night and to support on calls on weekend when required

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with Citrix technologies; XenApp Netscaler XenDesktop PVS Web Interface

Experience deploying system and security patches to a Windows environment

Experience with AppV 4.6 or later

Ability to architect user and profile management

Experience in Migrations from platforms and solutions.

At least 4 years experience of Microsoft technologies; Server OS Desktop OS Active Directory Group Policy

Experience with VMware technologies; vSphere

Experience with storage technologies

AD experience and Workstation Policies

Experience with management of file shares and groups

Extensive experience defining creating and testing Group Policy updates for desktop OS.

Foster a learning environment where skills and knowledge are shared to build the Teams capacity and capabilities.

Understanding of standard enterprise tools to develop or implement infrastructure hardware software or other technical components

Extensive Experience providing preventative maintenance troubleshooting and quickly resolve routine problems to ensure infrastructure stability

Proven history and ability to provide Mentorship and informal Leadership

Proven history of Influencing architecture guidelines

Strong presentation development and delivery skills

Highly Effective writing/verbal communication skills

Education: AAS Engineering Computer Science Information Systems and / or equivalent formal training or work experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide senior level expertise in all technical aspects of Application and Desktop Presentation Services

Act as a technical owner of EUC VDI and Application Presentations systems and contributing to the strategic direction and building technical roadmaps

Create and define TCO ROI

Work with vendors to achieve technical and pricing goals

Execution on projects defined in the technical Roadmaps

Provide training and knowledge transfer to peers and junior Engineers

Perform system administration and management duties for all virtual infrastructure systems and the physical systems they reside on.

Create and maintain virtual systems to include both servers and desktops

Deploy and manage highly available virtual desktop solutions

Implement patches and upgrades as appropriate

Responsible for storage management of datastores and pools

Provide performance tuning strategies and their implementation

Disaster recovery design and management for the virtual environment

Work with team members to complete operational projects and tasks not specific to virtualization.
